A photo exhibition displaying 50 years of educational endeavour of Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom was inaugurated by Minister for S. C. & Backward Classes & Tourism, Shri A. P. Anil Kumar on 3 rd February in the Vidyalaya. The exhibition captures the essence of the Viyalaya’s momentous journey over the past five decades which has been dotted with many significant milestones and achievements. The exhibition show cases the progress of the Vidylaya from 1964 to the present day which makes it a land mark in the field of education.
In his Inaugural Address the Minister praised the Vidyalaya’s efforts in moulding generations who are equipped for serving the nation. He urged the students to be ready to face any challenge with confidence.
“Oro”: the Golden Jubilee Memorial School Band was inaugurated by Smt. Prasseja Anil Kumar. A Book Fair was also inaugurated by the Minister who was happy to note the Vidyalaya’s efforts in creating thinking and reading citizens. The function was presided over by the Principal Sri S. Ajayakumar. Principals of neighboring Kendriya Vidyalayas, Vice Principal Dr. S. D. Rani, VMC Member, Dr. Ajithkumar and Manager, LIC Pattom Shri Ramdas were also present. Students of the year award constituted by LIC were given away in the function. The Photo Exhibition and Book Fair will be open to public from 3rd to 7th February, between 8.00a.m to 6 p.m.
